Dear M’ Chappell,
you may have heard perhaps, that my daughter Eugenie proposes to come to London in October to stay the winter. She would be very glad to give some private lessons, and I thought you would perhaps be |2| able to help her to get pupils by speaking of her intention, when you have an occasion for it.
I should be much obliged to you for any advice or help you would kindly give her. My daughter will stay at Miss Fillunger’s 16 Palace gardens Mansions Notting Hill Gate, and will also give the lessons there, as I do not wish |3| her to go out for them.
Just these days Miss Davies and Miss Grest were here for a short visit. I am astonished, how after Fanny looks after all the Season – fatigues.
Wishing you a good summer I remain, dear M’ Chappell,
Yours very sincerely
Clara Schumann
